Nepal-based activation agency, Lemon, took home 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze in various categories at the Flame Awards 2019 in Mumbai, India.
“Yes, this is a great win for not just Lemon but for Nepalese advertising,” said Ujjwal Shakya, MD of Lemon. “It’s a great team effort by us and the client together.”
Two other agencies representing Nepal also were winners on the night. Outreach Nepal won the Silver award for “Promotional Campaign of the Year” and Creo Communications Pvt. Ltd. also bagged a Silver for “Social Development and CSR Campaign of the Year”.
The event was hosted by Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) at Taj Santa Cruz, Mumbai on June 21. RMAI is an industry body representing both global corporations and marketing agencies.
The jury was comprised of 30 members who shortlisted these entries. The grand jury deliberated before selecting the final nominations for each category from 300 entries. Ernst & Young were the official tabulators for Flame Awards Asia
“This is truly a remarkable achievement for Nepal,” said Shakya. “These awards not only put the agency on a pedestal but also elevate the image of Nepal advertising in the region. This is also a motivation for the young, budding members of this advertising industry to look up and give their best since this award has confirmed that Nepal has broken boundaries of recognition.”
