The one thing about branding is that once you’ve put your finely-crafted message out there, you never know what will come back once it’s in the hands of the consumer.
And so it goes for Malaysian actress and social media influencer, Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, and a social media campaign promoting her newest bag collection “Lofar by Sometime”.
As part of the campaign, Neelofa took to Instagram to post a photo of herself sitting on a sofa holding a red Lofar bag on her lap. Where things went awry (though we think in a good way) was when people noticed that the leather headwear donned by Neelofa looked a lot like a bag itself.
Humorous memes ensued with both men, and women, posting photos of themselves with bags on their heads this week.
Who wore it better?

Well, they say the consumer is always right. But let’s hope this doesn’t actually become a trend we see walking down the street every day.
