“The best experiences don’t feel produced. They feel inevitable — like someone understood exactly what you needed before you did.”

The Experience Edit, a Mumbai-based company positioning itself as India’s first immersive experience IP company.  Founded by Khushbu Vaid, Riyaz Sayed, and Sapangeet Rajwant. The company says its focus is on conceiving, owning, and scaling original live experience formats rather than providing event management services.

According to the release, the distinction is foundational: where event companies execute existing briefs, The Experience Edit intends to originate proprietary formats built for portability, cultural resonance, and international scale.

Its planned formats span large-scale festivals, immersive pop-up worlds, cultural journeys, wellness retreats, intimate gatherings, and culinary experiences.

According to the release, the global live experience industry has lacked ownership thinking — companies that treat experiences as IP to build, protect, and scale rather than productions to deliver. The Experience Edit says it was founded to fill that gap.

“The experience economy is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally, yet ownable IP within it remains almost nonexistent,” said Sayed

“Most players are focused on delivery. We are focused on ownership. When you build an experience with the discipline of a format, you are not creating an event — you are creating an asset.”

“The best experiences don’t feel produced. They feel inevitable — like someone understood exactly what you needed before you did,” said Vaid,

“That is the standard we hold ourselves to. Not ‘did it run smoothly?’ but ‘did it change something in them?'”

“There is no shortage of events in the world. There is a deep shortage of experiences that truly stay with people,” said Rajwant.

“We built The Experience Edit because we believe the world is ready for a new category: experience IPs that originate from India and belong everywhere.”
