MSD Appoints DDB Group Singapore to Creative Duties in Fight Against HPV

The leading pharmaceutical company is raising awareness of HPV in Asia.

DDB Group Singapore has won the regional creative mandate for pharmaceutical company MSD, a subsidiary of Merck & Co. The agency is tasked with spearheading the MSD’s creative strategy and execution across Asia.

The announcement follows a pitch held in April which saw DDB go up against two other agencies to bring the account into its fold.

Effective immediately, DDB Group Singapore will deploy hyper-targeted campaigns in the region to drive awareness of the fight against Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The work will launch in key markets including Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Korea before rolling out to the rest of the region.

“We are delighted to partner with MSD,” added Neel Chhaya, Managing Partner at DDB Group Singapore.

“We are invested and passionate about the company’s healthcare agenda and look forward to engaging the market with unexpected work that is truly unique for the category.”

The news follows the agency’s recent appointment as Audi’s agency-of-record in Singapore for a three-year tenure, adding to its diverse portfolio of clients in the region.
