Miranda Dimopoulos, the executive director of digital industry body IAB Singapore, has has been elevated to chief executive while APD Singapore boss Tobias Wilson has been promoted from vice-chair to chairman.
This following current chair, Olivier Legrand, stepping down after taking a position as APAC MD at LinkedIn.
Dimopoulos has played an influential role in raising the profile of digital marketing in Singapore since taking on the role of executive director almost two years ago, quadrupling membership over that period. Her new role gives her voting rights on key decisions made by the industry body.
“I warmly thank Olivier for his steady leadership and wise counsel during his two years as chairman of the IAB,” said Dimopoulos. “He will remain on the IAB Leadership Council so we will continue to have his industry insights and unique vision for digital marketing in Asia.”
“Tobias Wilson is the CEO at APD (Asia Pacific Digital), and as an industry leader brings to the IAB a wealth of knowledge in creative, social, mobile, digital and traditional,” she added.
