Lifestyle brand MINISO has launched its Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 collection across stores worldwide, with the rollout beginning in June. The launch includes the debut of the YOYO and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 collection, featuring MINISO’s proprietary character, YOYO.
The Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5-inspired collection features more than 100 products across categories, including blind boxes, vinyl plush toys, collectible figures, plush toys, accessories, and lifestyle merchandise. Inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story characters, the products incorporate character elements into everyday-use items.
The YOYO and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 lineup includes more than 30 styles, including themed blind boxes and vinyl plush charms. The collection combines YOYO’s visual identity with Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story character elements and is part of the broader assortment available in MINISO stores.
The collection is launching alongside the upcoming theatrical release of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5. MINISO has also introduced a series of offline activations across multiple markets.
In Australia, MINISO is presenting a YOYO and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 themed experience zone at the Melbourne Central atrium from June 19 to 25 to mark the opening of the country’s first MINISO FRIENDS store. The installation includes sculptures inspired by Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie from the collaborative collection.
In Southeast Asia, MINISO is rolling out YOYO and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 themed activations in markets including Indonesia and Vietnam. In Indonesia, the company has introduced an in-store themed zone and installations at Jakarta’s Central Park shopping mall. The installations span outdoor and indoor atrium spaces and include a sky screen show featuring YOYO characters above Central Park.
In Vietnam, pop-up stores are extending the collection experience through interactive retail touchpoints.
In China, MINISO launched pop-up activations across three cities for one month starting from May 29. The activations are aligned with the collection rollout and in-store experience.
In the United States, MINISO has opened a YOYO exhibition in New York City. The exhibition includes life-sized installations from the YOYO and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 lineup.
The launch of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5-inspired collection and the YOYO collaboration series continues MINISO’s focus on licensed IP collaborations and proprietary IP development. The company is bringing together licensed characters and original creations across products, store displays, and offline experiences.
