Mindshare CEO Nick Seckold is leaving the agency and taking a position with Facebook.
This is the second big CEO departure for Facebook as last week Lowe China’s Kitty Lun announced she was packing it in after a long run at Lowe for a job at Facebook APAC.
According to Marketing-Interactive, Seckold has been tapped by the Social media giant as head of Facebook’s Atlas team for Asia-Pacific. He will report to the global head of Atlas in London, Damien Burns.
Seckold became CEO of Mindshare Singapore in 2013 after spending three years as head of digital, Asia Pacific at the regional headquarters in Singapore.
Prior to that Seckold was with Mindshare in the UK for four years.
Replacing Seckold will be Melissa Tang, managing partner of Mindshare Singapore and head of exchange. Tang has been with Mindshare since 2008.
