Michael Jordan, Oprah and Julia Roberts Promote Burger King’s Vegan Whopper – Well, Kinda

Burger King Germany has launched a new out-of-home campaign starring none other than Julia Roberts, Michael Jordan, and Oprah Winfrey. Well, not the famous ones. And that’s the point of the campaign promoting the brand’s Vegan Whopper – that nothing is what it seems.

The campaign, created by Grabarz & Partners, plays the familiar tune of mistaken identity, but that generates buzz, as seen here in the fact that we are writing about it, right?

The promotion is anchored with the tagline, “More often mistaken for the original: The plant-based Whopper.”


The campaign additionally has a social media competition calling on people with the same name as celebs to share mistake identity stories.
