Media.Monks has announced that planner Hironaga Yai will join its team in Tokyo as Senior Strategy Director. He brings over two decades of experience, most recently with Wunderman Thompson where he was Head of Strategy.

He has built his career serving in a range of strategic leadership roles at agencies including Dentsu, Y&R, JWT, Centan, and Wunderman Thompson, working for brands like Haagen-Dazs, Danone, J&J, Nestlé Kit Kat, Smirnoff, Beats, Volvo, Disney, FWD, Bridgestone, Japan Post, and many more. Yai has been awarded by the likes of the APAC Effies, Spikes, D&AD, Tangram and Nikkei awards.
