MediaCom Appoints Matt Ware APAC Regional Head Programmatic

MediaCom has appointed Matt Ware as head of programmatic for Asia Pacific, a newly created role at the agency.

Ware joins the GroupM media buyer from MediaMath, the ad tech firm he helped set up regional headquarters for in Singapore at the beginning of last year.

“Joining MediaCom was an easy decision for me. As an agency, they have invested ahead of the curve in the area of digital, technology and data and have the experience, size and scale that makes this a really interesting opportunity,” said Ware.


 

“I have worked closely with MediaCom over the past few years and the company has a great culture and way of working. I am excited to now be part of the business and to drive their programmatic product and service for clients across APAC”.

Ware will be based in Singapore and report to Matthew Wigham, MediaCom’s chief investment officer.

Wigham said in a press release that Ware will help to build the agency’s capability across the region “in an area that is becoming increasingly important for all of our clients.”

 


 

Ware has also worked at Conversant, where he was regional account director based in Hong Kong. Before that, he was key account director at Shopping.com in London.
