Jessica Davey, previously the global client director at Geometry Global, has been tapped as chief marketing officer at McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific. Davey replaces Richard Newman who will be departing after holding the role for the past four years.
While working with Geometry Global for the past four years, Davey was responsible for creating multi-market communication solutions clients, including Philips, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Unilever and Mondelez.
Prior to she held senior management roles at Ogilvy London and Ogilvy Asia –making the McCann appointment a return to Asia
“Davey has significant Asia experience having worked in China, Hong Kong and Singapore,” said Charles Cadell, McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific president.
“Her passion and drive, combined with her extensive experience to deliver impactful integrated creative marketing solutions for multi-national brands is impressive.”
Davey sees her new position in Asia as an opportunity to ride the wave of growth.
