Independent media agency Match & Wood has been appointed by Curtin University to manage its domestic media account.
The agency which has offices in both Perth and Melbourne, will handle media strategy, planning, buying, and data analytics across all channels within Australia. Longreach Media and Carat previously shared media duties for the university.
“Match & Wood demonstrated strong strategic insights and an ability to effectively reach our important target demographic in our local markets,” said Kate Jennings, director of brand and marketing at Curtin University.
“I look forward to partnering with them to tell the rich Curtin University story to those considering entering higher education across the country.”
Curtin University is the latest win for Match & Wood which was founded three years ago.
“In what is a challenging environment across the sector, the Match & Wood team will work closely with Curtin University to maximize its investment and leverage our expertise to meaningfully connect with their youth audiences,” added Lyndelle O’Keefe, managing director at Match & Wood.

Curtin will continue working with Sydney-based Global Rev Gen for all international media planning and buying.
