Creative agency :Teeth has produced a three-episode comedy series for Marriott Bonvoy in Singapore, built around the idea that staycations are already a regular part of Singaporean life — not something to save for a special occasion.
Titled The Never-Ending Staycation, the series stars Singaporean actress and content creator Annette Lee in three recurring roles: Tiffany, a part-time influencer; Mei Lin, a busy mum; and Sharon, a retired aunty. Across the episodes, the characters keep crossing paths at hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, each awkwardly trying to justify why they are back again.
Each character is framed around a different kind of staycation need.
The series was shot across three properties: Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, and Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore. According to the release, each property represents a different type of escape — family-friendly, urban, and classic luxury.
“We didn’t want to simply tell people there are 19 hotels to choose from,” said Mikey Batt, Creative Director, :Teeth.
“We wanted to give them characters, stories and reasons to keep watching. The idea behind the campaign is that one great stay is never the full story. So instead of making one ad, we made a series.”
Rather than framing each episode around individual hotel brands, the campaign uses the stays to illustrate a range of experiences across the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, which includes 19 hotels across Singapore.
