Mark Pope to Leave Dow Jones Asia, Jonathan Wright Steps in

Mark Pope, Asia MD of Wall Street Journal publisher Dow Jones for more than a decade, is moving on.

Pope worked on three continents for Dow jones since 2004. During his tenure he served as the executive director, multimedia sales and product development in New York, and then as the executive director of multimedia sales for EMEA in London, before moving to Hong Kong as VP of Asia Pacific ad sales.

Pope will be replaced by Jonathan Wright from Dow Jones’ London branch. Wright will take the reigns August 1, the day following Pope’s departure.


Pope will join Hong Kong-based mobile app startup Tink Labs as chief commercial officer.
