Manchester United and South Korean footwear brand Sbenu have inked a deal making the company the football club’s Official Casual Footwear Partner in the country.
The agreement allow Sbenu to exclusively produce and market casual footwear under the Manchester United brand in South Korea.
Sbenu was only recently established in 2013, but the company has already seen rapid growth and is popular across the South Korean demographic.
“Sbenu is a popular brand in Korea and we look forward to seeing the Manchester United crest on their products,” said Manchester United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold. “Having recently opened its 100th store and soon to be opening its 100th franchise we are confident these products will be attractive to our 15 million South Korean fans.”
