Leo Burnett Bangkok has partnered with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation in a fun, oddball campaign spot to educate consumers on how to safely buy organic vegetables.
The driving point of the two-minute spot, which features a maid going to extreme lengths to procure Bok Choy to cook for a bed-ridden man, is that consuming organic vegetables is best done during the right season. If not, then you’re eating veggies that contain chemical fertilizers in order to accelerate the natural growing process.
And that’s no good. Regardless of your extreme efforts to get a meal right.
“The aim of this campaign is to stop consumers from buying off-season vegetables so that farmers will discontinue cultivating them for good,” said a release.
And it will also prevent food preparers from going to extreme lengths to keep diners happy.
