Lion & Lion Promotes Supriya Jain in Hong Kong

After three years as the client director, Supriya Jain has been promoted to the role of managing director in Hong Kong for Lion & Lion. The role previously belonged to Hendrik Kühl, who left the agency in April after two years.

“We have an ambitious growth plan, and Supriya will lead the Hong Kong office to continuously strengthen our position as a results-driven integrated digital agency,” said Sumit Ramchandani, head of markets at Lion & Lion.

The agency is known in the region as the digital AOR for FWD across most APAC markets, positioned as experts in digital go to market strategy. Psychographic brands such as Shiseido, La Prairie, Indigo Living, and L’Oréal are also counted in the client pool.

“It has been a pleasure working for Lion & Lion the past three years and contributing to the growth of the business,” said Jain on her promotion. “I am excited to take on this new role of leading Lion & Lion in Hong Kong as the Managing Director, and I aim to further grow and deliver success to our clients and partners through impactful digital strategy supported by strong execution.”

Jain’s prior employers include Unilever, Goldman Sachs, Nielsen, and CompareAsiaGroup, holding a combination of functional roles across brand, sales, product, and research.

A digital-focused marketing agency, Lion & Lion’s parent company has been approached by the Dentsu Aegis Network for minority stake acquisition. Lion & Lion was founded in 2013 by Casper Andersen and Hugh Bately, the latter of which left the agency in February to launch in Singapore.
