The LEGO Group and Olivia Rodrigo have launched the LEGO Editions Olivia Rodrigo collection, introducing five collectible LEGO sets inspired by the singer-songwriter’s music, performances, and visual motifs.
According to the LEGO Group, Rodrigo is the first musician to receive multiple dedicated LEGO sets. The collection includes five LEGO minifigures based on different stage looks and performances, each featuring two facial expressions.
The sets include references to Rodrigo’s albums SOUR, GUTS, and you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, along with details such as her red megaphone, handwritten notebooks, and symbolic flowers.
“I’ve always loved hiding little details and meanings in my music and videos, so working with the LEGO team to bring something that fans can actually build and explore together has been so exciting,” said Olivia Rodrigo.
“There are so many pieces of my world inside these sets – little nods to songs, memories, outfits and moments that mean a lot to me.”
To mark the launch in Singapore, the LEGO Group partnered with music retailer Swee Lee Singapore on a fan activation at its Clarke Quay flagship store. Fans were challenged to uncover GPS coordinates hidden in LEGO’s Instagram and Facebook posts, leading them to a limited-edition LEGO Editions Vinyl created in collaboration with Rodrigo.
Only 333 limited-edition LEGO vinyls were produced worldwide, and Singapore was selected as one of seven markets to receive the vinyl.
