The acquisition follows Koto’s 2025 investment and makes Stereo the first company to join the network, which will bring together expertise across branding, digital, campaigns and content production.

Koto said it has been building a broader agency group in response to client demand for integrated, creatively led services. Stereo brings client relationships across sport, entertainment, consumer and technology, including Nike, Arsenal, FIFA, Converse, the San Francisco 49ers, the PWHL, EA Sports, Twitch, Ripple and Bumble.

Koto was founded in London in 2015 by James Greenfield, Caroline Matthews and Jowey Roden. Its clients have included Coca-Cola, Hilton, PayPal, Airbnb, Amazon, Microsoft and Meta, according to the release. Over 11 years, Koto has grown to a team of 170. With Stereo joining the business, the newly formed Koto Group will have 230 people across studios in London, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Portland, Dubai and Sydney.

The companies said the combined business will offer capabilities spanning brand strategy, digital experiences, campaigns and ongoing content production.

Stereo is the first of a number of planned acquisitions through which Koto intends to bring together established, values-aligned creative companies.
