Heavy metal band Korn has released its first music in four years in partnership with Blizzard’s Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, a video game launching as the conclusion to a trilogy.
The track, “Reward the Scars,” and its accompanying music video mark the launch of Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, which centers on a long-awaited confrontation with the game’s villainous character Mephisto, also known as the Lord of Hatred.
The music video places Korn’s performance inside Mephisto’s mind, where the music fuels the character as he tears and slashes his followers, intercut with animated sequences that visualize the conflict.
