Konami has launched eFootball™ Kick-Off! for the Nintendo Switch 2, the latest entry in the eFootball series, formerly known as Pro Evolution Soccer. The game features national teams and clubs from around the world, with a player roster spanning current stars and legendary icons. It supports solo and multiplayer play and can be played anywhere on the handheld console.
To mark the release, Konami has released a trailer for eFootball Kick-Off! featuring Japanese footballer Takefusa Kubo.
A promotional video has also been released, featuring Lionel Messi and others playing the game.
eFootball Kick-Off! is the first new football game for Nintendo Switch 2 and part of Konami’s eFootball series, formerly known as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES).
eFootball Kick-Off! includes four modes exclusive to the title. International Cup puts players in charge of a national team competing in a quadrennial international tournament. World Tour allows players to build a club team and compete in global tournaments, acquiring players from defeated opponents or signing legendary footballers using in-game Coins. Wall Ball is a three-on-three mini-game played on a walled pitch, with the first team to score five goals winning. Obstacle Race is a dribbling mini-game in which players dodge obstacles and compete for a high score.
