Hardcore KFC fans in China (there are bound to be more than a few) can now own a KFC Phone in a partnership between the chicken chain and Huawei. KFC is releasing the customized Huawei 7 Plus phone to mark its 30 year anniversary in China.
Huawei released the news in a post on its Weibo account. The KFC phone will have a limited release of 5,000 available on the KFC mobile cellnet review app and the Tmall store for KFC members.
KFC has also launched “K-music,” a jukebox function on its mobile cellnet app that users can try when they dine at more than 4,000 KFC outlets across the country.
The Colonel was one of the first large Western brands to enter the Chinese market and still holds are larger market share than McDonald’s.
