KFC has appointed R/GA Singapore as its creative agency partner, with a new campaign due to kick off in April as the brand looks to “further raise its brand awareness and presence and evolve the role the brand plays in culture.”
“We are excited to be partnering R/GA to cement KFC’s chicken leadership with our craveable taste,” said Juliana Lim, Senior Director, Marketing & Food Innovation.
“We love the insights and the creative work shared by the team and saw huge potential in the role that KFC could play in culture. Really looking forward to building greater brand love for KFC with R/GA.”
R/GA Singapore General Manager Marianne Whitman added: “The R/GA Singapore team cannot wait to work with KFC to realise our collective ambitions for the brand. Fried chicken is a universally loved dish that transcends generations – and we’re very much looking forward to getting people craving for crispy, juicy, fried chicken.”
“Change is in the DNA of R/GA. So when the pitch called for a different but incisive answer to the way KFC shows up in the market, we knew that this was a challenge we relished. We’re thrilled by the appointment and can’t wait to reaffirm the faith placed in us by the team,” says R/GA Singapore Executive Creative Director Ed Cheong.
As creative agency partner, R/GA will be working with KFC across creative communications for TV, POS, OOH and digital across key business pillars.
