Delta Air Lines has launched a new campaign featuring the company’s brand ambassador, Yuto Horigome, to pitch Delta’s daily nonstop service between Tokyo-Haneda and Los Angeles International Airport.
The campaign includes a 30-second spot created by Geometry Ogilvy Japan that will run through social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, until the end of July.
“Our focus is to promote Delta’s daily nonstop service between Tokyo-Haneda and Los Angeles, and Yuto’s strong influence among the young generation helps us to enhance our brand preference in a wider range of customers,” said Glady Tung, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific at Delta Air Lines.
“Yuto is constantly pushing himself to be the best in his field, which resonates well with Delta’s brand promise, ‘Keep Climbing’.”
Doug Schiff, Geometry Ogilvy Japan CCO, added, “The simple execution plays off of the smooth flights Yuto consistently gets on his own version of a tarmac. We look forward to more opportunities to film him in the air.”
Delta supports Yuto Horigome, an Olympic gold medalist and world-class Japanese professional skateboarder as his official airline. He holds Delta SkyMiles Diamond Medallion Status, Delta added.
