Japan Drone Show at Mount Fuji is Pretty Awesome

Tokyo-based tech firm MicroAd has taken drone flying to the next level with an impressive display that shows off their technology with an aerial ballet featuring a squadron of illuminated drones flying to the sound of traditional, funked up Japanese music.

With Mt. Fuji as a backdrop to top it all off.

The purpose of the elaborate production is for the five year-old firm to showcase “Sky Magic”, as new method of advertising media and entertainment.

Will it take off (sorry) as a new form of advertising? Who knows? We just think this is cool. Especially the guys shredding on the Shamisen.
