IPG Mediabrands has appointed Kasper Aakerlund as CEO of Hong Kong. He will report to Reg Davidson, Chief Operating Officer of IPG Mediabrands, Asia Pacific.

Before joining IPG, Kasper was the COO and CDIO of GroupM Vietnam and Indonesia and brings 11 years of industry experience, developing a strong background in Digital where he started his career in Denmark as a Digital planner with Omnicom Media Group and later moved to take on the role as Chief Digital Officer of Carat and Vizeum. He then moved to head boutique digital outfit, Suddenly CPH and later taking on the reigns of CEO at Isobar. He continued to shine in his region as CEO and Head of Isobar Nordics just prior to his last assignment.
He will start his new assignment with IPG Mediabrands mid-September.
