Eight Questions

What were you doing before you became an influencer?

I started creating videos at age 17. At that time I was just in high school.

What inspired you to pursue social media as a career?

I saw other kids in my high school creating YouTube videos and I thought it was pretty cool. I never really planned on it being a career, it just kind of played out that way as my audience and passion grew.

What do you enjoy most about being an influencer?

Being able to evolve with the internet, find new ways to keep my audience’s attention.

What do you like the least?

Contracts and waiting for checks to clear. Lol.

How do you decide which brands to partner with, and how do you ensure that sponsored content resonates with your followers?

I don’t take offers that I don’t have an idea for or that I can’t see myself in. It’s almost spiritual honestly. I just know what will make sense for where I want my brand to go.

What inspires you to consistently create new content?

Just knowing that I have loyal watchers and listeners who are waiting for new content is enough to inspire me to keep creating.

What tips do you have for someone who wants to become an influencer?

Get a planner. Work an insane amount of hours. Don’t expect success overnight.
