Creative agency Special Australia has launched a campaign for Honda featuring a CR-V Hybrid with a record player strapped to its roof.
The 45-second film shows the vehicle traveling along a country road as The Isley Brothers’ “Smooth Sailin’” plays on the turntable mounted on top of the car. The campaign audio was captured live through the car’s internal Bose sound system and recorded in-camera.
The campaign is the first work from the brand’s agency village, announced in December, comprising media agency Zenith, PR agency Burson, and social agency WiredCo, working alongside Special.
