HDFC ERGO has announced its latest heartwarming campaign under its new, pan-India #KaroSabkoInsure initiative, starting Raksha Bandhan 2023.
Emerging as the clarion-call for valuing the unsung heroes who support us daily in our lives, the #KaroSabkoInsure initiative seeks to spark a nationwide movement and conversation in order to safeguard the individuals who play a pivotal role in our lives, such as our domestic helps, drivers, office assistants, gardeners, security guards, cooks, and more.
At the heart of this movement lies a poignant and emotionally charged film that serves as the rallying call to action. Launched in the lead-up to Raksha Bandhan, a festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters, the film showcases the deep connection we share with those who provide us with their unwavering support every day of our lives. The campaign urges individuals to consider the well-being of these essential caregivers and extends the sentiment of protection and care into their ambit as well.
The brand is creating a definitive resource for people to access information about the most suitable health insurance policies for their support staff. The microsite not only educates users about the significance of providing a secured life to these individuals, but also enables people to conveniently purchase a policy online for achieving this objective. This simple yet impactful step encourages the nation to embrace the idea of safeguarding those who stand by us and infuses our culture with an equality of opportunity to get security on the health front.
Speaking about this initiative, Somesh Surana, Head – Digital Business Group & Marketing, HDFC ERGO General Insurance, said; “As a leading general insurer of India and a ‘Customer First’ organisation, we understand the need to address the health insurance requirements of the ‘missing middle,’ a vast demographic of 400–500 million individuals who lack adequate health insurance coverage. Aligned with IRDAI’s vision of ‘Insurance For All By 2047’, our #KaroSabkoInsure campaign strives to reach the last mile and propel financial inclusion in the country.”
Speaking about the unique initiative, Parikshit Bhattaccharya, CCO, BBH India, said: “#KaroSabkoInsure is a movement in line with the Government’s aim to insure all Indians by 2047. We are proud to partner HDFC ERGO to launch this initiative. The first piece plays into Raksha Bandhan and urges all to think about insuring the health of our house helps who we endearing call ‘Didi’. Many more interventions are planned to make this movement resonate all year round. One can also see how to take action on www.hdfcergo.com/karo-sabko-insure.”
