GUT Elevates Creative Leaders to New Global Roles

Joaquin Cubria, Ignacio Ferioli, and Renata Neumann take on newly created positions overseeing creativity and production across the agency network.

GUT has promoted Joaquin “Joaco” Cubria and Ignacio “Nacho” Ferioli to newly created global chief creative officer roles and Renata Neumann to the newly created position of global head of production.

Reporting to Global CEO Andrea Diquez, Cubria and Ferioli will oversee creative work and performance across GUT’s offices in Miami, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Toronto, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Madrid, New York, Singapore, Bogotá, and Copenhagen. Neumann, previously head of production for North America, will lead production across the network’s global offices and its in-house production offering, Glory.

“Joaco, Nacho, and Renata have been indispensable creative forces at GUT, and I am thrilled to partner with them as we continue pushing our brave creativity even further and driving impactful business results for our clients,” said Andrea Diquez, Global CEO, GUT.

“These key roles strengthen our Global Leadership Team, which partners with our offices around the world to help shape the future of our network. As GUT continues to grow, having a strong global team is essential to ensuring we continue protecting our culture and delivering exceptional work for our clients.”

Before their promotions, Cubria served as chief creative officer at GUT Buenos Aires and Ferioli was chief creative officer across GUT Europe. Under Cubria’s leadership, the Buenos Aires office won three Cannes Lions Grand Prix and was named Cannes Lions Agency of the Year, Effies Argentina Agency of the Year in 2023, and Ad Age’s A-List International Agency of the Year in 2024. Earlier this year, he served as Direct Jury President at Cannes Lions.

Ferioli helped secure global agency of record assignments including Havaianas and Rimowa, and has led Stella Artois globally for the agency for the past two years. Before taking on his regional role in 2024, he helped launch and lead GUT Mexico City.

“At this point, we don’t need to be in the same room to know what the other would push for creatively because we think very much alike,” said Joaquin Cubria and Ignacio Ferioli, Global Chief Creative Officers, GUT.

“So yes, we’ll be two CCOs, but really, we’re one creative mind in two bodies and that’s a real advantage (consider this shared quote our first piece of evidence). It’s an honor to take on this new challenge together.”

In their new roles, Cubria and Ferioli will oversee creative work across all 12 offices, lead global agency of record and project relationships, and support new business opportunities across the network.

Neumann has worked on the growth of GUT’s Miami headquarters and the launch of its Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto offices. She has also worked across clients including AB InBev, Tim Horton’s, Kraft Heinz, PepsiCo, and Kimberly-Clark.

“I believe that great work begins with a strong team who are driven to make the impossible happen, and that a producer’s impact goes far beyond delivery,” said Renata Neumann, Global Head of Production, GUT.

“I’m committed to helping our creativity thrive in the real world by building trust and continuing to elevate everything we make.”

Neumann will oversee production, working with global and local leadership teams on production quality and client efficiency.
