In an effort to expand into Iran, London-based Grayling has signed an affiliation agreement with Tehran-based advertising and marketing comms firm PGt Advertising.

PGt Advertising was founded in 2003 by Alan Cordier — formerly of Middle Eastern ad agency Osterads, which at one time had clients including Philips, Samsung and Nokia across four countries in the region in the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UK.

“The agreement will see both agencies working together to provide a full range of communications services to current mutual clients, while extending PGt Advertising’s global network and allowing Grayling to offer clients premium PR and communications services in Iran,” said PGt Advertising in a statement.

“The signing of this affiliation agreement between PGt Advertising and Grayling is another step in the right direction for us and we are extraordinarily excited to be accepted into such a successful global communications network” said Sam Cordier, Managing Director of PGt Advertising.

“As Iran opens up its arms to the world, we are proud to be able to offer our clients a truly integrated international communications reach and quality of service.”The lifting of US sanctions against Iran last summer has seen several agencies make their way into Iran.
