Grandpa Can’t Order McDonald’s in Heaven, but He can tell Grandma to Give you a Burger

A trio of warm-hearted films emphasizes the importance of family meals.

McDonald’s has launched its ‘Meals make Families’ campaign in India with a series of warm-hearted ad films that highlight relatable moments and occasions at family meal times and the emotions that family members share when enjoying meals together.

In one of the 30-second spots, a young boy asks his grandmother if his departed grandfather can order McDonald’s in heaven. Granny says no, but she did come to her in a dream the night before and told her to give the boy a hamburger.

One of the other films in the series features one family member who always has the habit of taking a bite of others’ food and finishing nearly half of it. While the other film shows a grandfather taking a dig at the father in the family for his capability of grabbing deals and discounts on the McDonald’s App.
