Haas Sports & Entertainment General Manager, Francis Coady has been promoted to the newly created role of Havas Media Group Chief Marketing Officer.
Coady joined Havas Media Group five years ago to establish the Havas Sports & Entertainment division, building it into a multimillion dollar-billing operation.
“Francis has made an outstanding contribution to our business after building our specialist sports and entertainment division from scratch,” said Havas Media Group CEO Virginia Hyland.
“The creation of the CMO position not only recognizes Francis’ exceptional track record over the past five years, it will enable us to leverage his broad cross-industry expertise to grow the agency and the strength of our amazing client partnerships.”
Coady’s 20-year career working across the music, film, partnership, content, media, and marcoms industries includes 14 years as director of The Coady Group, where he oversaw artists including Thirsty Merc and Hi-5. He also created and spent 13 years executive producing the Bondi Short Film Festival.
