F5 Shanghai Appoints Jimyi Xu Director of Global Marketing & Communications

Most recently, Xu was Senior Brand Marketing Manager at The Sweetshop.

F5 Shanghai, an independent creative agency, has appointed Jimyi Xu as its inaugural Director of Global Marketing & Communications.

The newly created role puts Xu in charge of shaping the agency’s editorial voice across all external channels, covering media outreach, social engagement, and marketing content.

Xu brings more than 13 years of experience to the agency. Most recently, he was Senior Brand Marketing Manager at production company Sweetshop, where he oversaw marketing communications for the Asia and MENA regions, later expanding his remit to global markets.

He began his career in Shanghai as a contributing writer for the Chinese editions of international magazines including Cosmopolitan, ELLE MEN, L’Officiel, Architectural Digest, and Robb Report. He then moved into advertising, spending five years in corporate communications roles at DDB and MullenLowe.
