Exide Brings Family, Friends and Strangers Together in #TheDiwaliInvite

Exide BatMobile, the doorstep battery service from Exide Industries preaches the spirit of togetherness in their new #TheDiwaliInvite campaign. Created by Wunderman Thompson South Asia, the film presents Diwali as more than just a festival of lights.

For Exide, the holiday is a day when even the smallest gestures of kindness and concern turn strangers into friends and outsiders into the family. The spot features a Batmobile technician fixing a car while a family celebrates Diwali. In the spirit of togetherness, he’s invited in to join the party. It’s more than just a kind gesture, but an appreciation of the technician’s efforts during a holiday.



“The challenge was how to instill an emotional high into a service that touches the lives of people every single day,” said Arjun Mukherjee, VP & ECD, Wunderman Thompson, Kolkata who conceptualized the script. “Probably there’s no better occasion than Diwali, a festival that’s rooted in the spirit of kindness and togetherness, to do that. And sometimes spreading warmth means appreciating and thanking the efforts of all those who always turn up to make our lives easier.”

Directed by Dibyendu Bose, #TheDiwaliInvite was released online on 11th November.
