IPG Mediabrands has appointed Paul Waller to the newly-created role of Chief Investment Officer MAGNA, APAC.
Waller, who brings extensive trading and investment experience with GroupM and Omnicom across Singapore, China, Australia, and the UK, joins the IPG Mediabrands group from his previous role as Chief Media Solutions & Investment Officer at EssenceMediacom APAC, where he was responsible for leading the function across 16 markets within the region.
In his new position as Chief Investment Officer MAGNA APAC, Waller is tasked with “driving investment excellence and performance” across the IPG Mediabrands group of agencies within the Asia Pacific region, through the network’s global media investment and intelligence company MAGNA.
