    Emotional Men Celebrate Beerthdays

Balter Brewing Company has unveiled a new integrated campaign for their flagship XPA brew letting us know that every beer bought for mates is a reason to celebrate.

Birthdays may only come once a year but, depending on how much booze you can handle, Beerthdays could happen 12 or 13 times a night! Talk about a reason to tear up.

The Queensland-based brewery’s new campaign is all a bit of light-hearted fun. From the happy Beerthday song to happy Beerthday presents and Beerthday pints in place of a cake, there’s no better way to pull on the heartstrings and queue the waterworks of even the most hardened Aussie men.

“Every Balter XPA is a gift. The slabs are even pre-wrapped. In cardboard. And every catch-up with your mates, especially after last year, is a reason to celebrate. So, Happy Beerthdays, Australia,” said Matt Lawson, Chief Creative Officer, Deloitte Digital.

“From the beginning, Balter has done everything in-house. To go outside our walls and collaborate on our brand was a big decision. But Matt, Chuck and the team have grabbed the tinnie with both hands so to speak and are ripping tops off them left right and centre. They’re also doing really great work and we are pumped with the new campaign,” said Stirling Howland, Brand Director and Co-Founder, Balter Brewing Company.
