Data and tech-driven marketing agency, ForwardPMX, has promoted Edison Woo to the role of Regional VP of Organisational Development APAC.

He will lead ForwardPMX’s talent development strategy in APAC and Russia, focusing on recruiting digital talent, strengthening the agency’s purpose proposition across social impact, DE&I and agency culture, and transforming internal skillsets to deliver results.

“The ever-evolving digital industry calls for an adaptive mindset, fostered by a culture where talent is given the room and guidance to develop, empowered to think strategically and have the confidence to be courageous to challenge the status quo,” said Richard Brosgill, ForwardPMX’s Managing Director of APAC & RU.

“Over the past 12 months Edison has successfully rallied teams together and strengthened our sense of connectivity even when teams had to work remotely. His true people-first perspective gives us all total confidence that he can positively enhance the culture that’s driven our success up to this point.”

Woo will also be championing the group’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Social Impact efforts, working closely with the People Experience teams across different offices to actively address issues on gender equality, good health and well-being, and environmental actions.

“Our commitment to DE&I and Social Impact is a direct reflection of our company values. As a global organisation and our clients’ partners, we know the responsibility we have in driving change in our communities and leaving the world in a better place. It’s crucial to create an environment that encourages our colleagues to discover greater purpose in their work,” said Woo.

“Similarly, we are committed to providing the resources, training and support needed to evolve our employees’ skillsets for future-facing roles in which they will continue to serve as our clients’ consultative guides and most important assets in a rapidly changing, technology and digital-focused world,” Woo added.
