Doritos Will Overload Your Other Senses – Watch Out for That Frisbee!

The theory goes that if you take one sense away, others will be elevated as part of our body’s natural propensity to compensate.

Working off this insight, Doritos has launched a new campaign created by Leo Burnett Israel, contending that its chips “will stimulate your taste buds to such a point, they will overload your senses and obliterate all others … as the rest of the world just falls away.”

Bold pitch. Very bold.


Check out the two spots where even a frisbee coming straight at your head or a robot vacuum tapping away at your feet are both imperceptible when you’re awash in the flavor of Doritos.
