The West Australian Ballet and Wunderman Thompson have created a new campaign called ‘Disappearing Dracula’ to promote the ballet’s award-winning production Dracula.
As the legend goes, Dracula, the prince of darkness is unable to see himself in the mirror. With this creative inspiration, Wunderman Thompson created specially-designed, strategially-placed posters in the bathrooms of bars and other entertainment venues so that when viewing the poster from certain angles, Dracula’s image disappears from the mirror.
“We wanted to re-launch our award-winning, sell out Dracula season with a bang,” said West Australian Ballet Marketing Director, Suzanne Beecroft. “We’re really excited this eye-catching idea could be turned around so quickly and effectively – a big thanks to Luke and Matt for their creative hustle.”
