Diesel sent out a party invitation for its 2015 fashion show in Shanghai, in a way that only certain people would understand it –specifically, geeks.
The clever idea by agency Fred & Farid Shanghai involved creating an invitation for the Diesel fashion brand in the form of a corrupted image that had no wording. Geeks who are familiar with coding would be able to figure out the “glitch” and ascertain the actual invitation details with a little investigation.
The 10 fastest people to figure it out and post about it on Weibo -along with the hashtag #worldofdiesel# – were given tickets to attend the show. Cool stuff.
