Dentsu One Manila Promotes Adrian Nicholas Borromeo to Associate Creative Director

Dentsu One Manila has promoted Adrian Nicholas Borromeo to Associate Creative Director. Borromeo joined the agency in February from Dentsu Jayme Syfu.

Prior to his move to Dentsu One Manila, Borromeo was the copywriter behind the viral #UberStories in 2017. He also won several local and international awards for Uber, Belo Deodorant, Metro Manila Film Festival, and the National Book Council. His latest award-winning work, Gabriela “Capcharing Harassment” won two Cresta Awards and a shortlist at last year’s Adstars.

“Energy and passion. That’s what the newly minted ACD Borro and the new young creatives bring to this agency every day. I will never get tired of brainstorming and creating ideas with them. They are the future after all,” said Merlee Jayme, Dentsu International APAC’s Chief Creative Officer.

Borromeo’s promotion is part of Dentsu One Manila’s strengthening of its creative offering. In recent months, the agency added Creative Leads Nonie Tobias-Azores and Rica Manuel, along with others to help bolster the roster.

“I am confident that Borro will continue to be instrumental in new business wins and creative accolades for Dentsu One Manila,” said Dentsu One Manila’s Managing Director Alex Y. Syfu. “Congrats on his well-deserved promotion!”

“As Dentsu One Manila’s newest creative leader, he infects everyone with his enthusiasm and energy,” said Jerry Hizon, Dentsu One Manila’s Chief Creative Officer. “His athlete background enables him to blend competitiveness and camaraderie – which are key elements when leading a team that’s going for new business, clients’ approval or creative awards.”
