Dentsu Mcgarrybowen Picks Up Entertainment Grand Prix at Cannes, First Ever for Taiwanese Agency

Dentsu Mcgarrybowen Taiwan has added to the Cannes haul for the global network. ‘In Love We Trust’, a brand film created by dentsuMB Taiwan for Sinyi Realty has won the Cannes Lions Grand Prix in the Entertainment category, the first ever for an agency in Taiwan.

“We are beyond proud to receive this accolade. This film is one way of reminding people that it’s vital to believe in the future. Only then is it possible to move forward,” Alice Chou, Chief Creative Officer, dentsuMB Taiwan.

“It creates conversation among the younger generation and makes people think about that when two people, no matter they are together or apart in the end, the final decision should be driven by the love in their hearts, not the fear. LOVE will teach us how to trust and give us courage to step into the future.”


The news comes a day after Ogilvy’s Media Grand Prix was the first-ever awarded to a Pakistani agency.

The Cannes Lions awards are being announced during Cannes Lions Live which runs through Friday.
