Dick van Motman, global CEO, Creative & Content of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has announced his departure from the network.
van Motman joined Dentsu tasked with transforming the operations as Chairman & CEO Dentsu Asia before going on to fulfill other Regional and most recently global positions within the group including CEO of the Creative business and part of the Global Executive team.
van Motman’s tenure at DAN has seen a number of acquisitions that sought to diversify and accelerate business growth. Dynamo Brand Index, a recent significant initiative was the brainchild of van Motman and his team on how to build a new era of brands in the new economy.
“Business transformation is my passion and after 9 countries, regional and global leadership positions, transformation assignments in 3 holding companies, hallmark M&A’s and most recently leading a sizeable division of +7000 people, I feel the time is right for me to pursue other ventures where I can apply my global experience on a wider canvas,” said van Motman. “Hence, I will be stepping up my involvement with various startups and (advisory) boards in the new economy space as well as contemplating other opportunities in due time.

van Motman will serve as an advisor to Andree with immediate effect and will leave DAN at the end of this year.
