DDB Group Hong Kong has hired Carol Lam to be its Chief Creative Officer and Managing Director.
Lam was previously with Saatchi & Saatchi South China, where she was CCO and Managing Partner, based in Hong Kong. Previously she spent five years in China with McCann Shanghai as CCO and Managing Director, and with TBWA Shanghai as ECD. Before her China stint, she was ECD of McCann Hong Kong in charge of the global communication for Cathay Pacific.
A Hong Kong native, Lam has not only helped Hong Kong brands succeed locally, regionally and globally, but also brings with her a strong track record in elevating global MNC companies in Hong Kong, and China, including McDonald’s, P&G, adidas and L’Oreal.

Reporting to DDB Asia CEO David Tang, Lam will be supported by the Hong Kong office’s existing management team, and will be tasked to further elevate the agency’s delivery of creative excellence, while driving its growth agenda.

Lam is a multi-award winner, who has extensive experience judging at prestigious award shows globally and locally, including the One Show, D&AD, Clio, ANDY, New York Festivals, Spikes Asia, AdFest Lotus, Long Xi and China 4As.
