Cresta Awards to Reveal Shortlist for 2022

The Cresta Awards will reveal its 2022 Shortlist, describing the finalists as ‘a marker of new directions in creativity’.  This year’s Shortlist will be announced at 11am (BST) on Tuesday 20 September All shortlisted entries can be viewed at

“We had a strong entry this year, with a notable shift towards more brand-focused and purpose-driven work,” said Cresta President Alan Page. “This shortlist, and our final awards announcement, will work as a marker of new directions in creativity.”

Lewis Blackwell, CEO of Cresta, added: “Many jurors have commented this year on how much they enjoyed the judging. In what has been a challenging year worldwide we are pleased to see that our entrants have work to inspire us all.”


Among the jurors were Khaled AlShehhi, Executive Director Marketing and Communications at UAE Government Media Office. He described Cresta as presenting “the global standard across the industry whether in ideas, innovation, effectiveness or execution”.

Lydia Baillergeau, Creative Director at Meta AI,  was pleased to take part in a “diverse and global jury… and such stellar work”.

And Guan Hin Tay, Creative Chairman of BBDO Singapore, said: “Just when we think we know everything, something comes along that surprises us. Judging amazing work allows me to learn and relearn new innovative ways to be creative again.”


Blackwell added: “Our judges are often delighted to see work for the first time, often yet to be awarded elsewhere. Our distinctive categories and approach to judging has been respondeded to by great entrants worldwide, drawing in outstanding creativity to analyse and reward.”
