Campaign Seeks to Cut Through the ‘Alien Language’ of Stock Investing

Even for the great Warren Buffet stock trading is a complicated matter. Mostly known only to certain circles, oftentimes because its foreign terms sound like an alien language.

With that in mind, LUP has created a print campaign for an Indonesian-based financial advisory company, Saham Rakyat, to demystify investing by using aliens as the campaign’s creative theme.

With the message: “Let’s Talk Stocks” the campaign seeks to break the stigma and confusion about stock trading while helping people to better understand the stock trading language.

The campaign features a series of fun ads hearkening back to the alien movie and TV shows from the 1950s and 1960s.

Albert Chan, Executive Creative Director at LUP, said that after launching the campaign there were 2,000 App downloads within 24 hours, and 5,000 organic new followers on Instagram.
