Fresh on the heels of their call for fast food lovers to take a bite out of their competitors, Burger King France has taken things up a notch. The burger behemoth has opened up its Instagram account for independent French restaurants to gain visibility while they’re shuttered.
Following the beating that the restaurant industry has taken worldwide, the social media campaign is sure to earn Burger King high praise. The good-hearted, free advertising give away, imagined by Buzzman, will be running until January 21st when restaurants are allowed to reopen.
Until then, a number of restaurants that need the visibility will be able to post on the account for free. Every day, Burger King will highlight several of them with their menus, their addresses, and their promotions.
To participate, restaurant owners will just have to post a photo of their signature dish with the #WhopperAndFriends and Burger King France will take care of reposting them.
