Burger King has announced that they will support French potato farmers who can no longer sell their harvest. The move comes on the heels of other goodwill campaigns launched by the fast-food giant in the past months.
The restaurant chain will be buying 200 extra tonnes of potatoes, and from February 2nd, they will be giving away a one-kilo bag of potatoes with every visit to a drive-thru.
The campaign was launched yesterday in The Journal Du Dimanche French newspaper and today on the brand’s social networks.
The operation will be available in all Burger King drive-thrus in France.
