BTS Seoul Tourism Ad Calls on People to Remain Strong During Difficult Times

Marking their 5th year as tourism ambassadors for the South Korean capital city of Seoul, KPop superstars BTS has released a tourism campaign video called “EoGiYeongCha.”

The two-minute video features the group’s members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook along with citizens of Seoul chanting “EoGiYeongCha,” which is described as an expression shouted out in unison to give each other strength.” Also featured are members of DPR (Dream Perfect Regime) and singer-songwriter BIBI.

The video spans 25 tourist attractions and landmarks across Seoul and has racked up nearly 29 million views since its release earlier this month.


The tourism campaign with the overarching slogan “Seoul Goes On. As it always has”, is meant to reflect the pandemic-inspired hit by BTS, “Life Goes On, by calling for unity during these difficult times.
